Campus Safety

While it may not always be the deciding factor when selecting the best-fit college, students who live on campus want to know that they will be safe and, if a situation arises where help is needed, that they are able to reach out to the appropriate personnel quickly and safely. Our approach is to work collaboratively with all segments of the community to solve problems, resolve conflicts, and create a safe environment in which our students are able to obtain a quality education.

It is the mission of Lincoln College Campus Safety to provide a safe and secure learning, working and living environment for faculty, staff, students and visitors to our campus. To maintain a safe and secure environment on campus we enlist the help of all campus community members through community policing. A safe campus is obtained by help from all members of the college community. We pride ourselves on strong customer service and professionalism. Campus Safety looks for a positive outcome with every contact we make on campus.

About Lincoln College Campus Safety

Lincoln College Campus Safety is responsible for the safety of the campus community. Campus Safety Officers and/or officers of the Lincoln Police Department respond to incidents on campus 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our offices are located in the Myer-Evans Student Center. Safety Officers are employees of Lincoln College. They are trained in first-aid, CPR, conflict resolution, and verbal de-escalation tactics. The department is service-oriented and ready to assist our students to reach their full potential. Campus Safety works closely with municipal, county, state and federal law enforcement agencies, as well as all emergency first responders.
